And now the Renntech module offers plug n play on COMAND? Wonder what the story is there.
Anyway the cheapest one of his available was 3rd party on Amazon for $1010.
I guess the best option now is Renntech?

 

wow - the price has DOUBLED since I purchased mine on Feb 19th, 2021 - back then it was $517.00 and free shipping.

 

LOL yeah it used to be $450-$500 when I bought mine in June 2020 for my 2019 E63s.

Does this leave any kind of flag that the dealer would be able to detect on any kind of warranty issue?

 

I'm not a tech so I couldn't tell you but all you are doing is telling the airmatic to lower itself and you can instantly return it to stock with the same module.

I emailed the guy who I purchased module from on amazon loweryourmercedes@gmail.com and he said that module will be back in stock in 2 weeks , he said to email him vin # to make sure that it works but we already know that it works so just wait 2 weeks unless u want to spend more , he also said that device reads vin number on first starup and records it ... anyway good luck , for me I like it and fist I had it on the preset "low" setting and found it to be too low for me , ended up setting custom settings with little bit less lowered

u can get it from Vlad +375 29 204-32-58 <- his whatsapp. Same guy that does the European headlight module, ordered my lowering module on Friday got it on Sunday lol

 

As long as you return the car back to factory height before you visit your service department, you are good to go. Now if you have α issues and it is suspension related, it can be detected the suspension was alter, just like if one was to tune their ECU, TCU and Mercedes was looking, they will find it. Never hear Mercedes/dealer flagging α Mercedes because it was lowered using α OBD lowering module though.

 

Ive never had to set to the default height ever when taking it in for service - (yes, warranty-related work). I guess it helps to have a service advisor that gets it. :-)

The guy on Amazon (loweryourmercedes) told me that price $1010 and when I said the guys on the forum are paying $550 shipped he said that's the price if I wait 3 weeks for the restock. That's a no brainer i'll wait lol but he did say all of us on the forum bought out his inventory and the shipment coming in would probably sellout again to forum members so get your order in ASAP

All I know is that guy is using a bunch of pictures of my car and I didn’t even use his module. I guess he liked my car

 

I just purchased this module and it was a good buy!! He also says he will refund you $20 if you send pictures and a video which I’m waiting for but whatever. Well worth the money imo. I posted a picture of my car with the module in the picture thread
