E-Class Production Stopped for First Two Weeks of May

This is my first order.....how long does it usually take for a car to get processed at port and then get to the dealer ??? I'm in Atlanta so I would assume it's normally pretty fast since we're only about 4 hrs from there.

Not sure these days. I’ve read elsewhere in forum about 3 days at VPC under normal circumstances. Then a day to 3 days for transport depending on distance. Maybe someone else can chime in with more recent experiences.

Looks like that was about right, mine was "released" to the port this morning....he sent me the screenshot.....says "CLR-RELEASE SHIPMENT TO INVENTORY"....anyone know if that means I'm clear of the chip issues????

Dock to dealership
Mine arrived in port on 6/16, discharged off boat on 6/19 and arrived at my dealership in CT on 6/25, prepped and closed deal on 6/29. All in all once car is finally built 😂 and arrives at shipyard the process is very smooth and without any issues, at least for me.

So just like another member here, I received a call today from my dealer that the VPC is ready to release my car, but I need to sign a form understanding that it will be missing the communications module. Didn't provide a timeline on when the module will be ready, but at least I will have the car soon.
