this is turbo lag. in launch mode you are spooling the turbos slightly to build boost. you should be able to display your boost gage and see the data to show this.

Thanks but what I mean is that if feels like a dual clutch like it’s not direct hit from start when you floor it it feels like it’s slipping

hmm, not sure what to say about that as i don't know the inner workings of the transmission. most torque converters (2018 uses torque converter, not dual clutch), have slip associated with them (or stall speed), so when you hammer it, it slips up to a higher Rpm to get into a better power band. NO clue if that is what you are feeling. these transmissions have all kinds of things going on for safety reasons, which is why a big HP gain has very little impact on 60' times because the transmission software is protecting the drivetrain.

Couple things at play here. You are NOT getting full torque at launch thanks to your CPC unit. These cars don't put everything down until 3rd or even 4th gear. Regardless, with the remaining power it is still enough to spin all four tires, so your TC/ESP may actually be cutting in. I live in cool Seattle and my tires are often at 80 degrees, nowhere near full traction and I can spin them from a stop easy.

Probably will need more information such as what DYNAMIC SELECT mode are you in, and what mode is ESP (Sport Handling or Off) in. ESP/TC will definitely regulate the torque/power to various degrees depending on what mode it's in. However, it will feel like it's slipping the clutch, because it is. The MCT (multi-clutch transmission) in these cars doesn't have a torque converter. It uses a single wet startup clutch as the coupling element and has a total of 7 clutches to do all the shifting, starting and stopping, so yes, it obviously will slip the clutch when you take off. Launch control, aka Race Start, essentially drops the clutch in a controlled manner.
