Any discounts on 2021 E63 S?
I'm assuming not due to worldwide new car shortage. There isn't much inventory out there from what I can see. Anyone in the market, any discounts? Thx

Not aware of any. I've watched them on autotrader since I took delivery of mine. This morning they are showing 17 2021 E63s sedans in the U.S. Six of those are used, and six aren't actually on the lot yet. That leaves five new ones actually available. The used ones are priced very high so I doubt there will be a discount anywhere with those numbers. If you find one with any discount I'd scopp it up as quick as possible.

Thanks, about what I figured. Not even sure how easy it is to get an allotment to build to my spec. When does MB switch over to 2022 MY?
So how has your E63 been since you got it? Any issues? Supposedly they reworked the suspension to be smoother daily driver in "grocery getter" mode

I'm very happy with mine. I never rode in a pre facelift model so I can't compare the ride. However, I find the comfort mode in the 2021 to be soft enough to drive extended trips and be very comfortable with the active multi contour seats. It is stiff in the sport + mode as you would expect and hugs the road beautifully through sharp corners. The power is exhilarating and a bit addictive. Mine has just hit 2000 miles and it has picked a light grinding noise in the left front wheel/axle area when cornering hard to the right. It is going in to the dealer next Thursday for that and the scheduled 2000 mile rear differential service. I waited several years looking for a low mileage used one and finally gave up. My preferred options and color combo wasn't popular so I bit the bullet and ordered. Allocations now seem to be very "iffy". If you look at the thread for "E class production stopped for two weeks in May" you'll see the boondoggle people are in waiting for cars and allocations. It is quite bizarre to see what's going on in the automotive world right now. Good luck to you. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Change rear differential fluid. My AMG supplement to the owners manual shows it required at 2000 miles. There has been a debate over whether it is mandatory or not. I'm getting it done to avoid any issues down the road.

I got no discount on my build which is on the boat and hopefully at dealer in the next 1-2 weeks. I did try to dabble in a deal with one on the lot a couple of weeks ago and they were asking 10k over sticker. I stuck with my non discounted build.

That's interesting. I'm hoping it's something simple and an easy fix, but that isn't how my usual luck runs. If it requires parts to be replaced no telling how long it will take.

(This is the internet!) I got 10% off and if you don't at least get 7% then you are not trying!
OK, in reality, I hate buying cars and I asked for nothing and I received exactly that!

The dealer I ordered mine from is small and had to make a deal with another to secure an allocation. There was no discount to be had from them. I did get $1000.00 rebate rom MBCA . The lack of a discount was not going to stop me from buying after a lengthy search for a low mileage used one that got me nowhere.

Igooz - Must be a sedan because good luck on getting a discount on a wagon. I got lucky though because I received $1,000 off MSRP on my 2021 E63s wagon back in January. I still would have gotten it without a discount because it's just that good of a vehicle.

It's all about relationships. I received over $5000 discount on my wagon which was delivered in Feb. 2021. I had originally placed a $5000 deposit with the original order in July because of the CCB's. The original production date was scheduled for 2d November but got pushed back one full month to 2d December. I doubt that there is a single 2022 wagon allocation unspoken for at this point. I wish everyone who is desiring this special beast to try to scope out any allocation available. Discounts are a dream in this constrained environment IMO.

@TDoug1 I was just joking, I didn't ask for a discount and I didn't receive one. I missed getting a new '20 wagon, since I first tried the RS6A which I didn't like at all, and so I ordered a '21 E63 wagon at the 11th. hour and I just wanted the car.
