I think you might be looking at the wrong wheels. MB lists them for $2k plus, each corner, with a core (see here https://mbparts.mbusa.com/oem-parts/...IFJlc3VsdHM%3D). Original Rader wants about $7k with tires for a new set (see here https://www.original-räder.de/en/mercedes-benz/e-class). Even remanufactured ones are in this range.
A 30% discount from the dealer? Sure, I can believe it if you run a shop or are lucky. Less than half? Probably looked up the wrong part.

Wheels alone are about $8000 US retail. Even if they are discounted from dealer at 25%, they would still cost a min $6000 US a set. No tires. No tpms.

I'm not interested in these wheels but the seller seems to have them fairly priced (including tires). Alloy Wheels Direct is the gold standard for best price on new MB wheels. They have them listed at $7k wheels alone.

That's the number I was quoted from my local MB dealer parts guy who I know from a long time ago. Could be the wrong wheel.

As a word of caution, when I purchased my additional 4 wheels from my dealer, it took several attempts to get ones without shipping damage. The ones referenced are shipping from Germany. What happens if there is shipping damage? I'd still prefer to order the parts through my local MB parts department. My total cost was $7700 vs $6925 calculated through this eBay offer. Not worth the risk for the marginal savings. YMMV

I think the rim caps are the center hubs. It’s a translation issue. And Original Rader’s a legit seller with good reviews on this site. So $5500 without rubber or TPMS is a good comp. Still puts the wheels for sale here within the realm of reason.
Well, rim caps are not the required center hubs. Those will cost an extra $150/wheel. Additionally, you need new TPMS senders at $125/wheel. So, add $1000 for those parts. You also need to add sales tax to the total.

All complete wheels are fully assembled and can be rebalanced upon request. The rim caps are not included in the scope of delivery, but can be ordered as an option. Wheel bolts are also not included in the scope of delivery. As a rule, however, you can use the existing screws on your original rims here. As a rule, no TÜV registration is required for the models listed. Please refer to your COC data sheet to check. There it is recorded whether the desired wheel and tire combination has been entered.

You realize that price is quoted in euros right? It’s a link to the same ebay seller you linked to before and shows a full set at about $5600 shipped without rubber and without tpms, in other words the same damn price as on eBay.
You were wrong about MB selling these new for $4400 and you were wrong about being able to find them online cheaper than that. I don’t know what the purpose behind linking multiple times to the same seller is other than to… prove you’ve been fos this whole time?

I was shedding light on the deal. That’s all. Obviously, the $1,100 per wheel isn’t way off of wholesale pricing.

for what it's worth i just asked my buddy who works for an MB dealership what the wheels go for, and it came out to $7,4XX.xx.
Also, sorry to thread jack but while we are on the subject I have a set of silver with dark grey accents from my wagon that are in mint condition, with ps4 tires (no tpms) for $5500 obo.
