conflicted on this wagon color
I currently own a 2016 E63 wagon in diamond white. I absolutely love the car and color. My neighbor is selling his well optioned 2018 E63 wagon. It is a really good deal. I love the specs, but I am torn on the color which is diamond silver. Any body have experiencing owing this color? Any issues with selling it down the road?

Not familiar with this color but looking it up online it looks like a classic German silver (ie no blue). E63 wagon in a nice shade of silver is the ultimate in understated elegance. I wouldn't hesitate. Any pictures?

Oh yes, I see now. Hard to go by pictures sometimes. I say go for it if you love the color. As long as there's not too much blue it should not be too polarizing. But never buy a car for the next person. That's my motto anyway.

If you are not even excited about the color when picking up the car, you will be even less excited after a short while! A good deal doesn't make up for a compromise color. And I am guessing that your white wagon is set up perfectly. Move on, get what you want.

Diamond White is a top tier color, I have to say my Selenite sedan was a bit of a step down but I still love Selenite. I'm not a fan of silver cars anymore and I was for a long time. This is all going to come down to your opinion OP.

diamond silver has a distinct blue-ish hue.. like an ice blue-ish silver color.

Owning that colour? Umm, not sure what to say. Looks good, hides the dirt so you rarely have to wash it, and I don’t plan on selling it because…well…E63 wagon lol!

Do you like the matte wrap? For me, it costs $7500 USD to do that. I guess I could always wrap the car in a different color if I disliked it with time. Not sure if that is a good option. Paint is in great condition.

I owned a diamond silver C350 for four years and really loved it . There is just enough blue to make it a really special color compared to all the standard Mercedes greys and silvers . When I traded it in the dealer sold it pretty quickly .

That seems high, I’d shop around. And yeah I love my “magno Diamond silver” lol. Thought I’d be sick of it at 3 years but still loving it.
