Potential repair parts shortages
The WW supply chain disruption is starting to affect repair shops that service older vehicles. I've heard about head gaskets taking 3 or more weeks to obtain where the timeframe before all of this chaos would have been less than 1 day. Low parts inventory, the potential to have your vehicle laid up for days waiting on parts. I wonder how long it will take for MB to obtain and install all of the missing Hermes modules that were omitted in some late 2021 production vehicles.

if true, cars produced in July should be getting Hermes modules soon ..
Has anybody got this module by now?

It’s not just parts. It’s techs too. I called the other day to get some maintenance done on mine (tires, brakes, heated seats, ticking noise) and they told me I had to have a special tech to work on mine so my appointment was 2 month out! One month down, one to go with squeaky brakes and in need of tires.

I've been waiting on a new massage motor on the passenger seat for 2 months - prob going to have to wait another.
Tech at MB of Manhattan told me that they are delivering some new S classes without the massage function at all.
