Black Grill Options?
I've seen a few members with black grills, specifically on PFL E63's and I'm looking for options. Easiest in my mind is just to replace the polished piece with a black one but I can't seem to find anything that isn't some aliexpress job that may or may not fit whenever it gets dropshipped to my house. I've seen people having wrapped them, and painted them. Painting would be my preferred last resort but it's not my ideal. With my C218 CLS63 I could buy the "night package" grill OEM.

I removed and painted mine on my c63 and intend to do the same with my new e63. Wrapping is probably more practical and less expensive, but I hate the look of vinyl and I can always find something wrong with it.

Looks awesome, I'm probably going to just have it painted. Did you paint the chrome trim on the emblem also?

Yes I did, and also tinted the disctronic emblem - That car had a full custom paint job and all trims that were not already black, we blacked out. We also painted the all of the cooling units behind the bumper black and it looked much more aggressive.

Just had mine wrapped in gloss black yesterday. You can actually pop out the silver portion of the grill from the front without removing the full grill , so you can wrap it off the car.

The dude that wrapped mine said there was some clips that allowed for just the silver portion to dettach and come out from the front, no removing bumper. He didn't show me though, so I can't provide any motr info then that.
