Yes I thought the same about the wording. I didn't even realize there was a “4” until another review pointed it out, only ever saw 4S’s being used. All a little convoluted and confusing.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see how the 5S does.

Confusion reigns with tyres , oil and alike .
Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S replaced Michelin Pilot Supersport .
Michelin Pilot Sport 5 is a replacement for Michelin Pilot Sport 4 .
Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S is a UUHP tyre .
Michelin Pilot Sport 4 & 5 are UHP .
There is a direct relationship with the firmer construction of the UUHP 4 S and better dry track lap times , however the trade off is comfort , noise and more importantly not as good in wet handling .
You can't have both...

Bottom line…these sound kind of perfect for our cars. If the 5 outperforms the 4S, then I’m willing to sacrifice a smidgen of dry handling performance of the forthcoming 5S, in exchange for a smoother and quieter ride. Hope they are released in our sizes, because if my 21 is delivered (next week) with Pirelli’s i’ll be ordering these sooner than later and binning those garbage pzeros.
I've been running the previous Continental version and so far I have no complaints. Likely not nearly hard enough on them to really test them but for an every day driver I have nothing but good things to say about them . . .
