Can it be added if it wasn’t available on my 22? It would appear it’s software based and either turned on or loaded after the fact. Is there an aftermarket solution for adding?

I think it hinges on other options in the car. My ‘22 was ordered with track pace as part of the amg package, but was taken out due to shortage, which made no sense. It’s just software. Turns out the shortage is in the mbux “high” trim, so my car was installed with mbux “mid” unit, which doesn’t support the track pace software. Was told I was SOL on retrofit by MB Canada.

I do know the factory in Germany will retrofit track pace, but only for euro vehicles. I assume they will retrofit all needed hardware as well.
