Does anyone know if there's a reliable site to download the latest map updates? It's for a 2018 E63S. The current map version is V8.1

I don't have an active sub for that car. I do for my 19 but the software licence doesn't match (obviously) so I can't use it.

I would be surprised if the downloaded map files are "VIN locked" in some way. Have you tried downloading the map files for your '19, and then try to install them on your '18?

What's the worst that could happen? 🤫

I did . It asks for a key whereas it just goes through the install process on the 19....... Boooo!

Alternatively, you could also use Google Maps and Waze from smartphone integration. At least you get real time traffic and newest maps on the go : )

That's what most normal people would do
I on the other hand have an issue with outdated software even though I'll use it once a year. My better half isn't as tech savvy so she'll appreciate it.

I am in the process of downloading the update from the above mentioned site. I'll report back.

I'll be moving to Europe soon and will be taking along our 2018 E63S Wagon. The map software seems to be outdated, and in need of an update. But it seems a waste of money to pay for an update when CONUS maps will not be needed.

Is it possible to download appropriate map software from mbnavisolutions.com for use while in Europe, or is this something better done at the dealership? I would really like to avoid buying a stand-alone Garmin Unit when I already have such a lovely wide screen nav display in the wagon.

Your help is appreciated.
