If you already have the VIN then the car is produced and not waiting for production. VIN numbers are assigned at the start of production on the assembly line. You can probably go to a VIN decoder and determine what is installed/features.
Thank you the first thing I did and it’s showing invalid VIN. Weird!
Photo op for the final final wagon rolling off the assembly line 😄
nov 7 delivery may mean it should be all assembled around September
That gives me hope I can beg a couple more options. I could fly there with presents?!? Just show up everyday with YouTubers? There’s gotta be a way lol
I think your wagon will be made way before July because the next gen w214 E class is coming out in the fall for Europe as starter. Factory will likely re-tool in July, the earliest. My thoughts.
2024 AMG EQE SUV , 2021 E63S Wagon - gone, 2018 E63S Sedan - gone

Again, the car has already been produced. The vin number is valid and shows an amg e63s wagon.
However, it may be missing some parts so it is probably in the rework section at the plant. That may be why the late delivery date.

Yeah they really **** the bed on this Final Edition. I wonder if Canada even got allocated any FE considering they don't provide sports seats to this market. Not as an option, maybe it's allowed in the FE. Not sure if it's a regulatory thing or supply thing or what.
Alright
I asked my salesman a few simple questions over the last week, multiple times, crickets and no replies. I grew impatient and out of curiosity yesterday called on the 2023 Wagon in Montreal.
It's within $4k of my car, all the MSRP and options match $ to $ to what I have coming so that was nice to verify. The only extra thing it has that mine doesn't is CCB's. The things it is missing that mine have are Magno Paint, carbon mirrors, carbon steering wheel. Both mine and Montreal do not have the Dinamica headliner (despite the Montreal website listing it in fact has black fabric).
So....
The Montreal one has been sitting for weeks.
I found out "my" car was advertised on my dealer's website for some time too before I was graced with the opportunity lol.
@gooter80 car is still sitting at my dealer with no takers. I was there today dropping off for a service B and replacing worn switches on my W212. Nice car gooter! Looks great in the wrap.
It seems the wagons are just sitting here in Canada. On auto trader many used ones have $10k price drops.
Stopped by by dealership today and found out the price was $178k and some change....DV8 package was just over $55k...the only problem is that you can't open the list of things inside DV8 package to see what we get.

The 2023 is no longer listed as its “mine” and incoming. I’ve asked for the status code three times now…
This used to be my car (as IT Guy knows). It also has a set of 20" aero wheels with winter tires. If anyone is interested in it they are welcome to PM me for any info on it.

OMG
I was in the dealer today and my salesman told me they don't have "codes like that" when I sent him the list of NETSTAR codes asking "Which code is mine?"
<sigh>
He said Canada is different. That we have a production VIN but still need a "real" VIN finalized, then we can look it up, what ship it goes on, etc. etc. but for now it is a "work in progress". Sounds very odd to me compared to what I am reading in this forum. @HBerman or others, any insight to Canada?
Sales guy called - my car is built and should be here in a month (or less).
!!
The VIN online still only shows about 1/2 the options filled out: https://mb.vin/vin/621701921f2fca8d119f7159bb1127f9/
Anyone know how long that takes to finalize online?
Another wagon hits a dealer lot.
I'm surprised these are sitting for a while with no buyers.
Why did they cancel all our orders, then send random builds to the delears?
I think many cancelled customers said screw it and don't want random options.
So weird.
Anyhow here it is for any Canadian that wants a wagon:
