Glad I pushed and went in today. They missed really important things like the CCB's!. Anyhow it's all fixed up and they are submitting to Germany.
Make sure you check it twice. I hate to call anyone a moron, but the guy who submitted my order certainly qualified. He botched it repeatedly leaving off things I wanted. Even after correcting him, he still submitted the order with a few omissions but I was just desperate to get the car at the time and accepted it for what it was.
This was the first thing I discussed with my salesperson and I had said I will walk away if the car was missing options I’ve selected (if any options were available at all for the FE). As long as it comes with most if not all options available it’s a winner mind you.

And they’ll probably tell you what they probably would’ve told me had I issued that ultimatum, and that’s that they won’t have issues finding a buyer for it. I ordered an RS6 that got damaged significantly at the dock coming off a ship. I refused it immediately (hence how I ended up with an E63s), but the guy turned around and sold the RS6 with no issue. while he likely didn’t tell the new buyer about the damage, there’s always someone willing to write a check for these unique cars!

Not a big deal to me good luck for that same sales rep to have monopoly on that sale. The other 20 sales rep will have a go at it. Get a rep that’s in your team and you’re golden.
Thanks! If I won the lotto I’d get another in a blue with nut brown and cross spoke. And then a third in murdered out dark magno night package too. Lol. So many ways to make this car look good… it was tough.
^^^That's a classy build. Silver/black is a great combination for a German wagon. I'd 100% go for carbon fiber interior trim. Else I'd eliminate the exterior carbon fiber. The non night-package exterior trim looks excellent with lighter colored paints. (Hated it on my black wagon.) Also, carbon fiber trim is more suitable with night package. Decide on your look and rock it. Just my two-cents. Can't go wrong either way. Best of luck. And now the long wait...
Got my winter wheels ready to go (just dirty) but no car. Sad. Just happy I held on to them.

Was the high tech silver a special order color? I did not see that in the 2023 DOG. Really nice como. I would have specified that color for my wagon if it wasn't a special order paint and the attendant $3000 special order charge.

I hear you on the exterior carbon which I’m considering dropping off we will see. My 212 is pretty much identical, but with no external carbon:
As for the interior carbon for me it’s too busy shiny and distracting. I think it looks great but prefer the car to disappear having just window view and gauges be the focus.
I have a good sized sample and studied it for weeks and still can't see much blue. Very faint. Gorgeous metallic silver color IMHO. The flakes are very tight (like Selenite) unlike many other glittery Mercedes metallics.

It greatly depends on the ambient lighting conditions. Look at a large panel on a cloudy day and it is most evident. Selenite is a great color for hiding dirt and not changing the overall color tone.
