A little more rumble our of a 2021 E63S
I remember seeing a video online, maybe that Mr. AMG guy, that talks about 2018-20 E63's being a bit louder than the 21my due to extra filters or something that were installed in the 21. Has anyone figured out how to get just a bit louder on the 21 without swapping mufflers? I haven't lifted the car to see the exhaust pipes, are there resonators under there that can be deleted?
What are you guys doing for extra sound? I'm over the downpipe to straightpipes out the back vibe. Would love to pick up just a few decibles over stock..

Renntech EVM, opens the valves 100%. Unlike all of my previous AMG's, there is no resonator to delete. Basically straight pipe downstream from the cats. I picked up some very solid decibels with this module.

Exhaust
I’m curious to know options as well. There is definitely a difference btw the 2019 and 2021.

I'm going to qualify this by saying I have a 2019 and they are naturally louder than FL cars, but for me it made a big difference. Yes the valves open completely after 4k RPM, but HOW OFTEN ARE YOU ABOVE THAT RANGE VS BELOW? I would say it's "mostly" plug and play, I had it professionally installed because I wasn't about to run wiring near my exhaust, but the installer said it was a breeze. There is a thread on it in this forum.

I have a button for my exhaust. Doesn’t that open the valves or does this Renntech trinket do more?

I actually have the Renntech module being installed as we speak. Will let you guys know my take after I pick up the car. Getting some more decibels in that lower rpm range is what I’m hoping for. I don’t tend to drive flat out too often and just wanted a bit more noise putting around.

The Renntech module makes a significant difference. I installed myself and it was a breeze following the tutorial that's on this forum somewhere. I am happy with the improvement. I have also purchased an exhaust from a 2018 that someone replaced with an aftermarket one but I haven't had the time to get the car on a lift and attempt the install.

That button only opens the valves a bit, and they progressively open as you approach 4,000 rpm where they open completely. With the Renntech unit they are open 100%, 100% of the time.

Valves will lock up
After some time , especially on tuned cars with DP stock valves will eventually lock up , around 30-40 K.
not sure how module will help with locked up valves ,
I’m installing blackboost exhaust valve replacement today and let u know how it sounds . I already have CPC and had option to code it for 100% open position. But from my experience I did not like how it sounded in comfort mode with valves open , sometimes you want to have valves closed .

If you planning on tuning your car and keeping it post 40-50 k miles do yourself a favor and replace valves instead of putting controller on something that will stop working / lock up
total price with parts and install was 1000$

is the 2018-2020 muffler (the can) different than the 21? I thought they were the same, but the 21 is quieter becaus some stupid exhaust filter that was added for emissions. Can anyone confirm?

valves are from blackboost
i think warranty should cover valves once they get stock , not sure if MB changes anything related to valves with facelift models .
this is how vale’s look in case you wonder,
For 2021 models maybe it is better to go with module Like you were planning but for older cars 2018-19 with expired warranty go with new valves, you’ll thank me later 😂

Picked up the car today after having the Renntech exhaust module installed on a 2021 E63s. I was honestly expecting it to be louder. There’s something they changed with the facelift version compared to earlier W213’s that makes them much quieter. From my understanding, the RT module on the pre facelift made a bigger difference. Not sure why.
On a side note, also had blow off valves installed and can definitely hear those!
