Fidelity warranty and mods

Is Fidelity extended warranty flexible with mods? Since its not through Mercedes, how do they even know if the car is modified? TIA

Read the terms and conditions, specifically any requirements for OEM or communicating non-OEM components.

I would think any warranty would be pretty strict about mods. Factory Mercedes and aftermarket warranties. I just bought the Fidelity Platinum two days ago, but my car is stock. They would know because I’d imagine those kind of questions would be asked to the dealership when it comes time for them to consider if they will cover the repairs. No first hand experience, but just what I assume would happen.

You do not want to make any mods that would be able to be detected upon a visual inspection. Tune you'd probably be ok, but anything beyond is taking a risk in claim denial. Obviously if your A/C breaks, they wouldn't deny the claim because you have engine modification.

If you have any other questions you can reach me at tgibson@highline-autos.com or (855) 924-1333

Let’s say you lower the air suspension via OBD2 and bring it back to stock height for dealer visits. Is this going to lead to a claim denial for suspension components?

Nope, that would be fine.
