Got a hold of Final Edition build sheet. Didn't know it had black brake calipers. That's cool. Lots of options missing, particularly for bloated $176,913 MSRP, including ceramic brakes, multicontour front seats, ventilated front seats, soft-close doors, heated rear seats, acoustic comfort package, etc. Perhaps some of those are included in DV8 FINAL EDITION. For example, we know it includes interior carbon fiber trim but the $2,850 option doesn't appear on build sheet.

My Dealer called me and let me know they had one coming in and I was first on their list. My sales guy said 125k for the Final Edition but based on what everyone is saying here, its going to be 175k for the sedan? Can anyone confirm it's 175K because If it is I don't think I am going to go through with it at that price, since I could buy another similar car for less.
Dear Mercedes-Benz Dealers,

The brake calipers are painted in black (unique content to the US market), and the sportiness of the edition is elevated with several exterior packages. Both models feature the AMG Night Package and carbon fiber exterior elements (AMG Carbon Fiber Package on the Sedan and AMG Carbon Fiber Package II on the Wagon).
All units will feature 20” AMG Forged Cross-spoke Wheels, as well as a special AMG emblem on the C-pillar. Lastly, a car cover with edition-specific lettering is also included.
Interior
The cockpit features several edition-specific elements, including edition badging on the center console, trim elements in carbon fiber, floor mats with yellow stitching, and AMG illuminated door sills in yellow. The interior is completed with sport seats in Titanium Grey/Black Nappa Leather with yellow contrast stitching.
The MY23 AMG E63 S Final Edition pricing is $168,913 (excl. D&D) for the Sedan, and $176,913 (excl. D&D) for the Wagon. Not so sure I want a Final Edition anymore. Lots of missing options.
Heads up display
Rear AC control
CCB brakes
Massage seats.
Rear airbags.
Comfort package.....
I wish there was a way to check DV8 option and what it has.
Apparently dealers are charging $50k over MSRP and people are paying it

If I were in charge of the Final Edition it would have a centered front camera (an atrocity, fire entire design team over it lol), ceramic brakes as standard and no yellow stitching. Common sense. Hahaha

Black calipers? No CCB's? No Burmester 3D?????
Sorry if you buy this atrocity instead of beating down my door to buy my absolutely perfect, near max spec 2019 you're insane.

I doubt this is helpful as very very likely it is completely different but on the C 63 S Final Edition, this is what DV8 includes: DV8 C 63 S Final Edition ($36,363.00): AMG Crest on C-Pillar, 19'/20' AMG Forged Cross Spoke Wheels w/Black Inserts, Black Brake Calipers, Grey Exterior Sport Decals on Front Hood and Doors, AMG Matte Carbon Fiber Centre Console, Dark Aluminum Door Trim, Interior Edition Badge, Yellow Illuminated Door Sills, Edition specific Floor Mats, and Edition-Specific Car Cover

It's a bit outrageous. However, I'm pretty sure there will be those that will line up to buy a "final edition" believing it will hold, or, gain value. If that weren't the case MB wouldn't inflate the price like they have. I personally don't have a problem with it. If someone has the money and wants to spend it one one, go for it. It makes me appreciate my 2021 just alittle bit more.

My 2021 isn't equipped with everything, but, it does have active multi contour seats with massage, soft close doors, warmth and comfort package, adaptive lighting and some other packages. The sticker was around $116,000.00 before tax and title. When you consider the bottom line of over $226,000.00 shown on the price sheet above, I think it's a bit much, but, that's me. Others may have a different opinion and that is fine also.

The $226K is the bottom line, MB get's the $170K and the dealer/taxman get the rest. Based on the inflation in prices for cars $116K in 2021 equated to $132.5K now (14.3%). So MB is charging a $37K (approx) premium for a limited (final) edition. That is a big jump but this is definitely a supply & demand situation and it would be interesting to see what price premium there were for other final edition vehicles. This case I feel is a bit unique, as what comes next won't be a V8. It'll probably be a hybrid with a 4 cyl. The sound difference between a 4Cyl and a V8 is worth the $37K to a lot of people, at least the 300 that can get it.
Also, with the limited run costs are higher so maybe $37K more isn't all profit. I know we would all like to control how much we spend, but we don't HAVE to buy these vehicles. A Chevy/Toyota/Volkswagen will get us to where we're going for a lot less. In high end anything you have to pay to play.

Oops, misread. Yes it’s like a $20k package for $500 in stickers and emblems. Then ADM on top.
