Got it today, broke it tonight. CEL P0087, P01C8
So,
I have wanted a E63s since 2021, I finally got one today for a good price, drove around, drove it home, went back out for a drive where I wanted to see what WOT all the way was like, got go to high RPM and eng fumbled a bit before shifing.. I thought I was in manual mode, I held the Paddle in + to make sure it was back in auto mode and tried again, this time it stumbled more around the top RPM range and then CEL lit up and it was in limp he mode.. I plugged in with my cheep scan tool and those were the two codes P0087, P01C8. It has 24k miles so it has warranty, and I bought another 5 years or 100k miles bumper to bumper on top of it.
Anyone had these codes, any thing I should consider having replaced while it's at the Merc house? I'd like to get comon failure items all replaced at the same time.
My impressions from the car is it's a cumfy, well controlled, and powerfully. But not happy Wireless Android auto wasn't in the car that year, my 19X5M had it but this doesn't? Any good suggestions on solving that problem?
