Only drawback is the smell of fuel though, sometimes its too much, sometimes its meh. Most time, when driving with the windows down, you might smell like you leaked fuel on yourself.

But the sound is just crazy, crazy good.
Did you cut your stock cats/dp's out for the install or did you drop the transmission?

Resurrecting this thread.

Anyone else get some downpipes? I’m seriously interested in opening up the exhaust on this car and getting more sound. My issue is I live in one of the most restrictive states in the country and absolutely cannot afford a CEL. Anyone else have any luck with one of these catted DPs and no CEL?

I just installed a set of Weistec catless DP's and my tune should negate the CEL when I put it back on. I probably wouldn't pass emissions though.

hi any luck on this? Looking after a catted downpipe that does not throw a CEL without a tune.

No luck, bro. It seems like catted DPs are not really a thing people do. I didn’t do it because I don’t have enough experience with the concept and a local exhaust guy told me to stay away from it and suggest a midpipe or a car delete.

There is not a lot of power to be had going catless - it's mostly all for sound. Which is why a lot of people don't do catted aftermarket - might as well just keep the stock ones then. We are talking 20HP catted to no cats so..... catted to catted aftermarket is kind of pointless except for sound.

Yeah, I think the thought for most of us is that we’d like more sound. I don’t care for any additional power (wouldn’t mind it), but I would love more sound. If it weren’t such a headache to do it, id like to get catted DPs. I wouldn’t be opposed to catless ones except MA is horrific when it comes to regulation.
