Air Balance Fragrance: Which One Is Your Favourite Scent???
How subtle/strong would you say the scent is at different settings?
I had an empty one in my CPO I recently bought, tried to get it open and broke it so I bought the refillable one. I've tried an essential oil in it but nothing. Not a wiff. You get a hint if you open the glovebox!
Basically, I think the system isn't working but have nothing to reference. Even the young noses in my house can't smell anything.

The price is right, and if you like the tropical pineapple and coconut scents this is a decent option. I don't know how it is in the car...because after buying the refillable dispenser mine doesn't work.

I bought some MB Agarwood... really lovely (that is Oud for all you perfumers out there).
With that said. I buy my liquid from Aroma Retail and refill my little containers. I have tried some tom ford portofino and Aqua di Gio but I noticed that I need to dilute them with some Alcohol to get them to work.

If you didn't see anything in the upper left side of the glove, a silver shelf to hold perfume bottle, then you don't have it.

When I bought my pre-owned Mercedes pickup ... ok, it's a 2007 RAM 2500 Cummins, which officially is when Mercedes owned Chrysler (Jeep/Dodge/RAM)... it smelled like those damn Christmas trees that you buy for a penny at the corner auto store. It was gag inducing. I threw them all away and vacuumed and vacuumed. I kept find more shoved under the seats, in the cushions, in the rear seat storage cubbies. It was awful. Had to rent a steam cleaner and upholstery attachment to clear the carpet, the seats and the roof liner. And still it smelled. After a year or so, it finally went away.
So I've considered my glove box AMG E63s wagon fragrance device an archaeological relic to be studied but not disturbed.

I find certain scent will stay with the car for months which is nice so turn it on for a while and leave it off for a while so the fragrance will last longer since they are not cheap.

Add oil or alcohol

You mentioned you add alcohol to Aqua di Gio. I added Aqua di Gio eau de Parfum, was hoping it will last longer than eau de toilette. But now the smell is barely coming out from my vents.
So was wondering what ratio of denatured alcohol you used with Aqua di Gio and did it really helped in circulating the fragrance better as most of the consensus I have seen in discussion is that people recommend using OIL instead of alcohol based.
So was curious to know your experience or if anyone else has also experimented with oil or alcohol with Aqua di Gio or related eau de parfums
alternative to OEM fragrance
I have been using this - crack open the OEM containers when empty and replace with this...works great!
