I do wish the W213 rear fender had the fake air vents like W212 had and being brought back with W214. They may be fake, but they do make the rear look better.
I do not like this design language. They keep doubling down on it over the years. If this is the same team that put the camera off center on the front grille of the E63s, they should have a stern talking to.
I guess the only thing going for it would be the side profile, now just curious how it will look with the AMG stuff on the 63 models. I mean the S 63 E Performance really changed the look of the W223 S-Class.
Seems like the money is still on the Inline 6 for the future 53 and 63. Through EPA documents, it's confirmed the CLE53 Coupe/Convertible will have the M256 set up without a plug-in hybrid set-up. It's safe to assume that the E53 214 will carry over the same M256 set-up as the 213 (and new CLE53), while the new 63 will receive the P3 tech matched with the M256 (or whatever it'll be called if it's going to be hand built in Affalterbach).

Yup which is nice when the "E" in the CLE isn't just marketing, and actually getting something from the E-Class.
Those taillights with the logo inscribed scream cheeseball to me.
I am guessing for the AMG variants, the taillights will have AMG "streaks / slashes " from the logo. That would be a huge improvement, because the MB logo is completely lame.

That will be dope but I honestly doubt it will happen, hopefully the stars grow on me...
Are you looking for a Sedan or Wagon? That would make a big difference in term of price and availability. Wagons are rare to find and it should be easier to get a Sedan near MSRP.
