C&D: V-8 to Return to Mercedes-AMG C-Class and E-Class Models by 2026
Speaking hypothetically, if they do bring out a hybrid V8 version, I echo the concerns folks have about the weight and complexity penalty. That and that interior is horrible. I get ADHD just looking at all those screens. And man do I hate the “digital vent controls.”
Until there is final word directly from MB on this, I reserve the right to be skeptical of this news.
And regarding the new C63 and lack of orders, I’m sure the new price point isn’t helping to sell it either.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

They killed the V12 and now the V8 - Mercedes officially no longer sells anything I want or need. The regular E series wagon might have been tolerable if they hadn't made it look like a Subaru Outback with the ridiculous rubber fenders. I have zero interest in EVs or hybrids and I'm not willing to risk the other cars I have by parking a potential lithium fire in or near the same structure. It's like Mercedes have decided to show customers like me the door.

Will be happy to be proven wrong though.

As mentioned in the earlier posts on the new C63S ugly sales order .....
