Caveat Emptor
Not sure if this is the place to post this but since it is in regards to my 2023 E63 AMG I figured this was as good a place as any to vent;
Bought a set of E63 take offs from another forum member to use as a spare winter tire setup. Seemed like a stand up guy, drove to his house to get them. They looked great in his garage so I never bothered to look that closely at them beyond the finish. Put them on the car a few days ago and there was some vibration. Took it to MB to check out and 2 of the wheels are bent. One of them is so fubar it's not even repairable. In my defense you really couldn't tell until you saw them spinning. The MB tech insists there is no way the guy who sold me the wheels didn't know because someone had clearly had the bent wheel re-balanced to try and minimize the mayhem.
Anyway, lesson learned...again.

Based on some of the stoopid sheet I've heard dealers tell customers, I'd want a second opinion from a tire/wheel shop before assuming it's the forum member and not the MB tech who's full of it.
Just my 2 cents, keep the change.

I went back and looked at it myself. Once spinning, one of them was so bent a blind man could see it from 10 feet.

As long as you're stuck with the wheels, I would take them to a reputable wheel shop to see if they can get straightened. Regardless of what the dealer told you, I've seen worse than that get restored to like new.

I can see the flat spot in that wheel pretty obviously now, and I also can't blame OP for not seeing this. The seller should own up to it or face a ban.
The seller has read this thread, I noticed the username in the Currently Active Users list at the bottom of this thread when I was reading it earlier.
Given the information available to us, it's hard to see any situation where the seller was not aware that these wheels were fubared.
Regardless, we should all be here to help each other as fellow forum members and the seller should be obligated to do the right thing and make this right or face the justified negative karma due.

Look at where the wheel weight is - he possibly tried to balance this out and knew he was selling bad wheels likely if he tried to balance it out

I have not heard that, well read that word combination since law school. "Buyer beware."
Non AMG Rims ---> Bought AMG genuine
Yes I hit a pothole in Sydney NSW Australia, after taking delivery of my car, and the thud was massive went hard through the dash. Soon after I had to replace the sensor on top fo the steering column (that does the positioning headlights and also the side support in the front seats as you go around the corners) as that was damaged by the massive shock. Back tohe the rim, it was damaged however I did send it off to a specialist to spin them up and get them "back in round" as good as it gets to 'near right' . and then balance. It is a common problem for those who start to shoot for lipstick tyres and rims and or have bad roads. As a rim to have when you get a flat and have to wait for a new special tyre it is a good idea to keep one.
I subsequently bought the Genuine AMG rims to then find the studs were longer (so had to buy the genuine studs at another $1,000AUD) ...no doubt they are all of better construction...but $$$
Cheers,
Grant.

Wow OP I am so sorry to hear what happened. I believe I was negotiating with your seller on eBay as well which is where I saw the rims listed. I offered somewhat below the list price but asked for shipping included rather than show up in OH to pick it up. Seller never responded so I guess I dodged a bullet. I ended up buying the same set of rims and tires from a German used tire/rim dealer for less money including international shipping and the wheels and rims I got are on the car now and doing fine. Worked out for me and I am so sorry you took one for the team. I am adding my vote here that grumpycat needs to make you whole for your loss.
