For context I just recently bought a mercedes e63s 2018 with (20k miles or 35k km) after 1 week of semi rough driving the transmission started slipping. so took it to dealership and technician test drove it, tech said yes big problem this was last month on Oct 16. Eventually after 2 weeks of waiting get a message saying transmission has to be replaced. Okay fine I let them take their time. Now it’s Nov 13 still I haven’t had a update when I text them or call no replies or answers I’m getting frustrated. Btw this tranmission was all replaced by Mercedes powertrain warranty.
What should I do? Added pics of the car!
Idk man lowkey regretting getting this car now. I love amgs but one week in dosnt seem right and when I call they pick up put me in wait for 20 mins.

There was a prominent member here who needed a new transmission on a literally brand new car. It required a lot of patience, understanding that parts are back ordered or somewhere in Germany and shipping takes time. Then installation takes more time. It is what it is. Getting a free loaner car is best you can get.
Dude, there have only been 5 working days since they acknowledged that at least the parts are in. Replacing the transmission is a big job. They have other jobs, too, so the tech may not even have freed up yet to work on it.
Fair enough, how long should I give them? They gave me a 2023 c300 with 6.7k km and now i'm at 11k km lol thats why i want my car back I dont want to pay for the free loaner.
Don't really know. Quick Google search says replacing a transmission in a more complicated car, which is what I'd consider an AMG to be, can take up to 4 days if worked on continuously. Considering they have other things going on at the same time, and not knowing when or if they have started on it, I'd say be prepared to wait a few weeks at least. For reference I had a transmission sensor fail on my previous Audi RS5, which required the transmission be taken out, then opened up to replace the sensor and put back in. I don't remember exactly how long it took, but I wanna say it was in the shop for 3-4 weeks. The tech started to take it apart while they were waiting for the sensor, which came in fairly quickly, so there wasn't a lot of time that passed due to waiting for parts.
As for the loaner, read the loaner agreement. It should state the daily mileage limit and I'm pretty sure you had to initial that, too. I just double-checked one of my recent ones and we get 100 miles per day and after that it's 50 cents for every additional mile.

If they get the parts correct from Germany the first time it will take a month. If they have to order more do-dads and parts it takes about a 2 week wait each order. Then a few days for the tech to get scheduled and realize Germany sent the wrong part or the kit is incomplete and they need more stuff.
My job took a few months.
Be glad you got a loaner. Read the agreement. Mine said no more then 100km/day.
It’s a great car. Wait it out and you’ll have a transmission with zero km on it.

np i had to get this it was too good of a deal but unfortunately tranny went..
It was a good deal, considering the super low kms and options. From what I remember, it was only a one owner car with all of the service done at that Mercedes dealer. Didn't they disclose that the transmission was already replaced by Mercedes prior to you buying it (assuming I read your post correctly)?
