Yup, it's in there, I can feel it too. Just have to better the 60'. This model doesn't have launch control so I'm still trying to find that sweet spot without abusing all the things too much ;p
"A slight driver mod" and I bet there's a high 12 there.
I know a better ET is in there with a better launch/better 60’. I only did 3 quick runs on a random street with no houses. Given more time, I'm sure I can find the sweet spot.
For comparison of my 60’, here's an off-idle launch (no brake boosting). Just an ⅛ mile run:
And the following is the video of the slip above (ET 13.12) where I brake boosted to around 2000rpm. I really should have held the brakes a second longer to allow some more boost to build, but I am also trying to be nice to my drivetrain.
(on decel at around 96mph I hit a dip in the road that bottomed-out my front suspension, so that's what the one spoken word is for, lol.)
Good point, there may be momentary slip I cannot feel. Especially as I plan to increase the launch RPM. Thanks, I'll add that to my recipe and drop my rears to ~26psi.
Ah, good one! I didn't think of that. I'm assuming the lighter spring rate will allow the rear to squat more and transfer more weight to the rear. I'll add that config too. Nice, thanks!

Yep, essentially it allows the wieght transfer smoother to the rear for load up and grip. At the drag strip switching to comfort suspension allowed me to improve my 60' from 1.6x to 1.56.

Very cool. I totally get that. I'm not used to having adjustable air, so that didn't even occur to me.
Another reason I love car forums, crowdsourcing information. Thanks!

Your D/A is a little high, Just wait for a cold day and your in!!
Agreed, colder air is always good! In Florida I have the advantage of sea level but the disadvantage of heat and humidity. The Dragy altitude reported a bit off, I was actually at 21ft. ASL according to my phone. I was about 2 miles inland so that makes sense. Not that it matters otherwise.
It's been cooler here lately (60's) I need to run it again with the couple of changes as discussed in this thread and find that sweet launch point and I'm confident I can get my 60 down. My goal is a repeatable 12 stock before I start throwing money at things.
