New to the forum, just purchased a new to me w213 E63s wagon with 55k miles for 56k$. (Original Rear main seal no leaks, fingers crossed.)
Car on last year of ELW until December 2024, brought it in dealership for service B recently and had the tech do a full check-up on the car everything was brand new.
Only recommendation I got from the tech was to replace the 5 year old battery. I check the service record and the car has original sparkplug so I figured for preventive maintenance let's replace sparkplug/coil.
Everything went smooth sailing until I removed cylinder #6.
Fortunately dealership will replace as gaskets are covered.
Now I was hoping to benefit from your knowledge on the M177; while replacing the headgasket a lot of stuff has to be removed like the turbochargers for instance, what should I ask the tech to replace as preventive care or also anything we should check while the headgasket is removed?
