Transmission Service (30K miles required) Oil flush and change
Oil Pan
Screws (10)
10 quarts Transmission Fluid
This is a video of changing the fluid on on 9-G transmission which is a similar process.
Are you certain that you want to change this yourself?

Thanks for the video. I think this is for non AMG though. I want to make sure non AMG and E63S process is the same. Waiting for @konigstiger to chime in lol.
I already bought the kit from FCP euro, so mind as well give it a try. Doesnt seems to be too complicated. Just drain, replace and refill.

Not sure why you would want to do this yourself and not have a service shop execute the service.

Im pretty handy and also enjoy working on my cars myself and learn how things operate. I just picked up a preowned G550 as my DD, so I will be putting this car away for the winter, and weekdays, which gives me plenty of time to mess around with.
Yes i do have air pump to fill the fluid, and the adjusting/drain tools.
quick question,
So my other mercedes with torque converter, W207 E350 coupe, I had to drain alot from torque converter by removing the plug, but this car doesnt have one. So does the pan actually hold all 10 Liters?
can you elaborate your previous comment in more detail?
