So I found a slow leak in my rear passenger tire yesterday afternoon, I've already gotten it patched with tire patch + plug. Now I have to reset the PS4 pressures (36 all around) as they did manufacturer rec but I'll do that once they cool off.

Anyway, what do you guys think? If I'm doing drags or track. is it still safe? I've never had to have a tire patched before.
I once got a flat in the rear tire of one of my track bikes immediately after having the tire mounted. Picked up a screw outside the shop where the tire was mounted. Turned around and brought the bike back into the race shop and had it patched with a plug.
Was a bit worried about using that tire for races that weekend thinking of the forces acting on the plug while the tire is spinning at 130+ miles an hour with all the wheel spin that's happening on the way up there. Wasn't a problem.
I've had a few other tires patched for normal road going use, both motorcycle and auto and have never had a problem with them.
I also asked some friends off the forums (IRL) and they say the same thing. I really appreciate that, thank you. I will definitely be keeping a close eye on that tire.
I ran over a drywall screw in the road apparently. Can't predict that kind of stuff, damn.
