Replace rear rotors?

Car has 28,000 miles. Want to switch to the Z23 brake pads. Hate the dust on the wheels from the OEM pads. I am planning on changing the front rotors. Do I need to change the rear rotors when I change pads? Thanks in advance

measure the thickness of rear rotors to see if it meets specs. Normally, it is a good idea to change pads and rotors at the same time, to enhance more uniform wear with both being new. Just my 2 cents.

It's reasonable to just do a pad replacement ... but like mentioned they may not wear evenly or bed ideally, this guy just did pads and was happy

For this low mileage any new pad would eventually bed themselves in and match surface of rotors.
Brakes would get better when this happens as more surface area.

No reason to change rotor unless severe wear or grooves
