Must see! W213 E63S brake job for $200 and zero dust.
For those that are sick of spending literally thousands on brakes and hate the crazy dust from the originals please read on.
I recently purchased a 2019 E63S with 30k miles. When purchased, the brakes still had some life with the pads having about 40% life left, and the rotors were just slightly grooved across the surface. So me being OCD and also hating the brake dust since I’m a detail fanatic, I started looking into my options. When I sold my W212 E63 I remember the buyer saying the first thing he does to his cars is switch to Powerstop ceramics. With my research I have found options for our cars to be fairly limited, so I looked into Powerstop and saw they had front and rear options for our cars. About 60 bucks for the fronts and same for the rears. Can’t beat that and they even come with new pins and clips. I went with the Powerstop Z23’s. $120 shipped to my door from Amazon.
I then made some calls about turning rotors. It’s hit or miss some places do and some don’t. Then a few that do don’t wanna mess with slotted and drilled rotors. I found a local repair shop that said absolutely no problem as long as the rotors were within spec. They turned the rotors for $15 a piece and they turned out perfectly. I then cleaned the rotors and primed and painted so they literally look brand new. All in $200!!!
After a week with these new pads I am beyond pleased. Absolutely zero brake dust! My wheels no longer turn brown after two drives and now stay clean along with the rest of the car. For daily street use I have noticed no difference in stopping power from the original pads and I’ve tried a few very aggressive stops as well. I made this same post on the W213 Facebook group and multiple guys said they spent nearly 4k JUST FOR THE FRONTS 😳😳😳
Anyway, if you can find a good shop that will turn the rotors, along with these Powerstop pads and you will have a fully refreshed setup for about the price of two or three tanks of gas.

MBWorld Fanatic!
If you live in cold weather, these pads squeal like no tomorrow. I had these on my X5M and swapped them out within a few weeks. I would never put this brand on any of my cars, not even a 20K car. I hope you have better luck

Aww... just found out they don't have front pads for the 2021. Boooo.

i just washed the car after an entire week of work commutes, I did the initial brake pad bedding procedure, and today did a 60-130 test using dragy. My wheels were literally dust free. Still can’t believe it! 🤣

I live in Chicago, and while I dont have an X5M, I do run these on my full size RR. No issues with noise or dust.

They do not list rear pads in the Z26 extremes. So I went with the Z23 pads which do. I didn't want to mix and match. Not really even sure if the differences anyway as they are both listed as carbon fiber/ceramic and both come with new hardware. 👍🏼

I can second this recommendation. I put these pads front and rear on my ‘18 e63s wagon a couple months ago after becoming sick of dirty wheels and can say that there’s been no diminishment of braking and zero dust. I live in western PA and we’ve had a cold winter and I’ve not experienced any squealing. I did not turn or replace the rotors, just did the recommended bed in procedure.
I like em so much that I put them on my new Audi s5 recently after just one week of owning it and seeing the dust that car’s stock pads put out. Same experience on the Audi, zero dust and same brake feel and performance.

Rears - Z23-2047 (do confirm the rears, as i believe the rear pads have some variation changes depending on the year)
Quite a number of online stockists sell them, but i usually get them from Rockauto, else its Amazon.
Here's the link from the former:
