63 motorsports for E63s

I just received my Dual catch can from 63 motorsports. The packaging was terrible and one of the hose lines were scuffed. Has anyone installed this kit to their 2018 E63s?. How hard or easy was it?. Does this kit really help save your main rear seal?

Theoretically it should prevent the RMS failure. However if the RMS has already been fixed along with replacing the oil separators then it may no longer be of concern. Reportedly the new oil separators have been enhanced and the pressure issues that the were caused by the old design has been addressed. There are other advantages to the catch can. It removes the oil instead of just feeding it back into the combustion chamber.

Hey OP - In my experience billet black anodized parts can show wear fairly easy. It's possible that how it was shipped and handled led to the marring shown in your photo. If it's not affecting the overall fit/function of the kit, I would still install but definitely let 63 Motorsports know about the damage and packaging (or lack there of). Smart owners of small businesses will take your feedback into serious consideration and maybe even offer you a partial refund or replace the damaged piece(s).

Have you had a chance to get this system installed?

2019 E63s
I recently installed the e63 motorsports dual catch cans on my 2019 E63s would not describe it as a difficult install. The W213 has a tight engine bay so go slow and deliberate especially with the unbolting/bolting steps. Dropping a bolt would not be fun. Car is original with 14K miles and so far so good.

I have debated whether to proactively replace the original OVS prior to any RMS anomalies and tried get forum consensus to help decide. No consensus I have been able to find from those who have actually just replaced the OVS and catch cans to assess if it addresses the RMS issue.

I drain the catch cans every oil change 3K miles and they do catch a good amount of oil that would have otherwise gone into the OVS and recirculate into the intake.

My one critique on the E63 Motorsports offering would be to have the lines already come cut to length and assembled. It would make the overall install quicker and more user friendly.

Satisfied with my purchase and customer service was excellent.

I received mine today and for the price you pay, the packaging is sub par to say the least.
Bubble wrap should not break the bank when thinking about when your consumers are buying.
