Pressure in the transmission coolant
My car is a 2017 e63s amg. Its got 25k kms on it.
I was doing some spirited driving and noticed that the transmission temps were more than a 110c so i parked the car and drove it after an hour and the temps started creeping up again. So i took it to the garage and they said i needed an auxiliary coolant pump and the changeover valve.
I got the parts myself and they changed them and the car runs normally now. But i have noticed that if i open the coolant resorvoir which is under the engine cover it has alot of pressure in it and coolant comes out whenever i open it. Strangely if i open it in the morning even before i start the car there is pressure in the system and coolant comes out. If i dont drive it and still open the coolant bottle there is pressure. There are no errors and the transmission temps are also normal they hit 82 and the go back to 75c. Never over 85c.
Am i being paranoid or is there something wrong.
I have bled the system once also.
Please advise if it is normal or where could the problem be.
Thanks
