Looking for advice on E63s rotors!

Hey y'all,

My rotors time is up! I was on FCP, and wondering if this combo alongside the Z23s would work?

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...mbo-09-d339-11 - REARS
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...mbo-2314211812 - FRONTS

They both say fitment is correct but I wanted to know what you think

Yes, they are two piece, lighter and have a lifetime warranty if purchased from FCP. Any delusion that the MB branded rotors (Zimmerman) are better in any way is simply unfounded.

I was under the impression that the AMG® High Performance Composite Braking System uses Brembo "Dual Cast Discs". These discs are two-piece with aluminium hats and do allow for thermal expansion. One of the key benefits claimed by Brembo is:

Dual cast disc reduces squealing and vibrations that can occur when braking, especially at high speeds or under heavy loads. This is because the aluminum hat thanks to the thermal properties acts as a damper and absorbs the vibrations generated by the cast iron braking surface. The result is a smoother and quieter braking experience.
I was not aware that Zimmerman makes Dual Cast Discs, that said, their products are of very high quality in my experience.

I concur that the Brembo "Floating Discs" are probably lighter, however, and are very competitively priced. With regard to the FCP Euro warranty, I suspect that both discs would be covered. I think that either product would be more than adequate on the road and for most users, price and aesthetics would be the main differentiator.
