If modding stock to stock it comes down to
BMW has the fuel and turbos to go nuts but not the bottom end. The temptation to surpass is great.
Mercedes has the bottom end but runs out of turbos and fuel.

Either car past stage 1-2 costs $ to address it's respective "shortcomings".

If I won the lotto ECC multi-tune w/Pure 900 turbos, spool fx200 hpfp and dual lpfp. Pump 93 tune will make 820-830whp. Map switching on the fly w/ethanol or race gas 900+ whp with the flick of a button. Transmission rebuilds not included.

sounds very nice and extreme ... but nowhere to use it in the GTA, except at track.

Just figured I would update. The 21" I was initially interested in sold to a wholesaler, really haven't been actively continuing a search. My salesman has alerted me a 2020 213 has just been traded in with 3X K miles.

I will take this one on an elongated road test and see how it goes.. My F90 has now crossed the 80k mi marker so this would be a nice upgrade in that department. So far knock on wood it's been ok.

Hoping the 2020's were less common with rms, but looks like it still happened to some. Something i'll check for sure. I see fidelity will no longer cover the 18/19's oof.

Definitely less 2020's with RMS reported here - curious if any of them were made with new part numbers of the OVS and RMS

You feel everything, and not in a good way in the steering wheel, you feel it in your bones. Maybe in my younger days I wouldn't mind the extra rigidity, and yes 100% the exhaust sounds better/louder, but the stiff suspension would have been depressing for me. If you plan to DD, get the 21, it still looks like a million $ and its super comfortable when you need it to be.
what warranty did you go with and how much did you pay? I plan to do similar once factory warranty is up. Really enjoy the car
