What: Rear view mirror
Why?: The rear view mirror was lose and vibrating a lot while driving (bonus: the newer FL mirror has more mirror, ie no thick borders.
Issue: once replaced, the mirrors garage door opener did not store the "garage key" after shutting the car down and turning it back on.
Fix: The Garage door opener (A67n2) must be initialized to the overhead panel.
Reason: The over head panel is tied to the EZS (Ignition module) and it essentially learns the new garage door opener.
It does a TON of variant coding. I could do ambient lighting with scenes and effects but the MY was throwing error (DTC Stored codes but no MIL light) so i reverted back to pre-change (yes, i did a backup on it).
Update: So long story very short.. it did not work.
The Garage Door Opener communicates with the Front SAM and there is a security key that is negotiated by both. This requires Xentry/DTS Monaco/Vediamo to get negotiated to allow GDO to work correctly.
