E43 Downpipe Leak

Hey guys I have a 2018 E43, with catless downpipe, and straight pipe. I keep having an issue where my downpipe keeps getting an exhaust leak. I am tuned with burbles some are gunshot burbles depends on rpm. I can’t figure out why my car keeps getting an exhaust leak no matter how much i tighten the bolt. What do yall recommend? After a couple weeks it comes back.

Are you sure you have properly identified where the leak is? Have you smoked test tested the system. Did you use new bolts and gaskets on the aftermarket downpipe?

The next statement is based on the owner preference and it doesn’t bother me at all what you do. Burble tunes and pops and bangs are extremely hazardous to your engine and exhaust. Whatever idiot helped popularize turning a four banger into a fireworks show did not care at all about what it would do to the vehicle. Pops and bangs and anti-lag are a waste of money and completely destructive on the vehicles. I’m sure everybody realizes those noises come from exploding gasoline that is not exploding in the right place to create power. Those explosions destroy everything they come in contact with. Even better is if you put on a nice cheap aftermarket titanium exhaust and completely blow it up with your tune.

If you want the car and it’s parts to last, remove the trashy tune. If you want more noise, add more cylinders…

The down pipe may not be high quality manufacturing... doesn't seat well... how's the gasket ? Have you tried a new one?
