Basic info:I am the second owner, title has a minor on it from previous owner. I bought the car stock from Mercedes in January and added a 3rd party 100k mile warranty ASAP (on all the major parts of the car from fidility this alone cost me 7k and can be transferred to new owner). It has given me no issues and all maintenance is up to date (Mercedes service A and B and recently done and all 4 brake pads NOT ROTORS) and it's sitting on Michelin pilot sport all seasons

modifications include:

Rentech ecu tune (can be flashed back to stock)

Renntech blowoff valve

Matte ppf on interior carbon

Front afalterbach Amg badge

Fidelity gold 100k mile warranty

Just looking at offers I am not in a rush to sell and miles will go up since I love driving this car

The Fidelity warranty will absolutely pay for the eventual RMS failure and ovs replacement

Another fortune in your corner, I have it documented on this forum that the Fidelity warranty may cover that issue even though the car is tuned.

Yeah it’s only a plug in Renntech tune which is backed by Mercedes but yes Trent from HIGHLINE should have additional input

This depends on the dealer and if you get lucky otherwise it’s an argument over the Magnuson Moss warranty act. And despite what anyone might say, there’s no such thing as an aftermarket tune backed by Mercedes. Individual dealers may offer warranties on upgrades that they sell themselves and renntech may offer a warranty on top of the Mercedes warranty (because they know Mercedes has no liability to cover it). The marketing lingo from RennTech is very good, but often confuses people as to actually what the reality is. Renntech and Mercedes have no partnership at all.

If you have a warranty and a tune, it’s best not to tell everyone on a public forum as it creates a record of potential fraud. There is a history of car manufacturers snooping through forums to invalidate warranties.

Oh, and op, I can’t imagine this is your first rodeo in selling a vehicle or on a forum so you probably know that this should be posted in the marketplace. Glws
