Drivers side heated armrest stopped working. Any advice?

Drivers side heated armrest stopped working. Any advice?
Hi All,

My drivers side heated armrest stopped working and threw a code B22F615 " The output for the armrest heater has a malfunction. There is a short circuit to positive or an open circuit". All the others (heaters) still work.

Dealer says entire door panel needs to be replaced at a cost of $1500. That just seems wrong. Like replacing the door panel for a faulty lock switch.

Anyone have any ideas or thoughts? Could I buy a used panel off eBay and retrofit the heater somehow?
