And I love it!! Tried to get a 2012 model back in January, but the Dealer screwed my order up, so I just ordered a 2013. Made sure to get the PP and LSD! I do have a dumb question and I'm too lazy to load the Digital Owners Manual. Have owned many MB's and was always able to get the passenger's exterior mirror to angle down when shifting to reverse. Do the 2012/2013 CLS63's not have this feature? If so, please let me know what I'm doing wrong.

I'm almost pretty sure the angling down of the passenger mirror with reverse is there. However, I have an E, not the CLS.

By the way, that's a nice looking subdivision there. Is it in Cali or FL?

You should just press the button to control the passenger side mirror then once you hit reverse the passenger side mirror will angle down. If you press the driver side mirror then you have effectively disabled the passenger side mirror angling down feature. I hope that helps.

That's how it worked on my E550, but using the same procedure on my CLS63 does not work. I really enjoyed that feature, so I hope I can figure out how to make it work. Thanks for your help anyway!

Congrats on your new car! You need to post a few pics. Regarding the mirror, you need to first reverse, then press the passenger button, then tilt it down to your liking. When you put it back to drive, the mirror will get back to its original position.

Thanks Mr. Happy, I'll give that a try. Was hoping the mirror would automatically angle down when shifting to reverse like all of my other MB's have been. I'll try to snap a few more pics and get them posted!

Probably the only mod I'll be doing is window tint. Don't need to do a tune because I am very happy with how well the car accelerates, shifts, ect. I always lease my cars for two years, so don't like spending extra dollars on aftermarket mods. Oh, did I tell you how much I love this car??????

Yours is identical to mine. Your picture reminds me how it looked before my windows tint. The tint is really a must with the black paint.

Nice car but I am biased towards the black CLS. Regarding the mirror, I think you have to program the mirror with one of your 3 driver settings. Once you put the car in reverse, just hit one of the programmable settings and your mirror will move into your desired postion.
