There's a Dragtimes entry for a supercharged, 700 wheel horsepower, 11.4 second Silverado: http://www.dragtimes.com/Chevrolet-C...lip-16287.html. Given the mods, I find the horsepower and time credible.
A stock cl600 or cls55 is not going to outrun that truck in a 1/4 mile but with a full set of mods you could be a few tenths quicker.

I can believe it in the 1/4...after that it will dramatically slow down with his lack or aerodynamics.
Make the offer of a roll on from 60 to 150 and you should be golden with just an ecu tune. From a dig, you would need the ECU tune and upgraded inter cooler setups to be in the high 10s to low 11s from what I have read.

Don't waste your money
I have a small shop and we have built race cars for years. Predominantly small block Chevy. Natural, supercharged, turbo, nitrous. I happen to own a CLS63 as a weekend driver. There are several cars and trucks around here that are street legal (or at least close) that will best any west euro import that I've seen. For cars we're down to low 8's and trucks are high 9's. Even 4x4 diesels can be high 10's. You are facing a wild card that may or may not be bluffing. We have done a lot of serious street racing and rule #1 is know your opponent. Any stock Benz is easy picking, everyone knows what they can run. A modified one isn't much better--west europe cars are very costly to modify and don't take well to mods. either. So the chance you are racing the the one exception is slim. This is because you're dealing with a 10:1 cost ratio. $10,000 into a chevy will net you similar power increase as $100,000 into your benz. Hell, mine was just in the shop for a week because of a balance valve on the left cylinder bank. The computer saw a slight variance of air mixture from left to right and didn't like it! What I'm saying is that you don't see any really fast MB, BMW, Jag, etc. because of too much technology, which leads to very few and very expensive aftermarket parts. With domestic cars, you have cheap parts and lots of them. Chevy LS series engines were designed to be aftermarket friendly with ECM's that the average 12 year old with a laptop can re-tune. (and screwing with it won't shut down the rest of the car either) Keep in mind that USA invented drag racing. Name any other country with a history of mass producing 6.5L - 8.1L in all sorts of cars. There is no replacement for displacement. Modified blocks can now be as much as 13.0 L.
So, don't be a sucker. Know your enemy. Or, as someone else mentioned, pick your battle. A freeway race from 60-140mph would give you your best chances. A stoplight war is too risky. Horsepower is one thing, and chassis tuning is another. There are many 325hp stock Camaros that "hook" off the line and would eat you over a short 1/4 mile.
Or, do what us poor kids used to do in high school---race for ego's. (excessive, rub it in your face, bragging rights)
(in front of everybody of course)

CLS55 plus a few Ducati's
Who in their right mind would try to turn a silverado into a "sportsthing"
A turd is a turd no matter how fast it is. If he has spent a truckload to make it quick in a straight line so what????
If you race and loose you will never hear the end of it.

I consider the Supra and Skyline to be East Europe. That's why I tried to narrow it down to west Europe.
2nd--Because you or others think it's a turd, is why it's cool. It's called a sleeper, and it's a lot of fun if it's yours. Ever take out a Ferrari with a 225 Buick, or a hearse? How about breaking the the starting timing lights with the rear tires of your '76 Ford Ltd. ?
