+1 Wheels/Tires for 01 C320
My wife has an '01 C320 with OEM 16" wheels and 205/55/16 tires. I would like to go to 17" wheels, but want to keep the higher profile tires (fill up the wheel well a little more). Will the extra inch diameter cause problems (other than speedometer/odometer), such as with ABS, traction control, etc?
I know I can go to 225/45/17's to keep roughly the same diameter (25.0" vs. 24.9"). Is that what I need to do?
I am interested in Tire Rack's ASA ST4's at 17x8. Are those wider than the OEM wheels, meaning that I do need to go wider than 205? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
