how low can you really go on a W203 on 19's before you can't put anybody in the rear? i'd love to lower it, but would still still like to be able to put people in the back and make it useful.

btw, what is the widest that can go in the rear before it begans to rub. need to do it right this time around so i don't get any problems, thanks for the help.

If you don't want any rubbing issues when lowering, running a staggered 19" set-up, and having people sitting in the back, I'd go about 30mm on a car with the standard suspension package. As for wheels and tires, I'd run:

8.5x19 ET31 (235/35R19) FA
9.5x19 ET31 (255/30R19) RA

And definately roll the rear fenders.

depends on the weather
I agree with Ken but, you could run up to a 37mm offset

sorry, but do you mean drop the car 37mm?

*edit* found answers to previous questions about rolled fenders. back to the mm question what does that mean? i guess i'm going to be stuck with 19's and no drop b/c i don't want to sacrifice sitting space in the back seats. unless somebody else has a suggestion.

the 37mm offset refers to the rear wheel
