19x8.5 on E55k -- +25mm vs. +30mm front off-set

Which of these 2 wheels will work on my E55? I am crossing my fingers that the 25mm off-set will work. Read on!

AMG makes a AMG 2 piece 19 inch wheel wiht both off-sets but the TireRack wheel generator page only shows teh 30mm off-set fitting for the E55 but it shows the 25mm and the 30mm off-set fitting a E500.

The lower number means that the wheel will sit further out correct? Meaning it will sit 5mm or .2 of an inch closer to the fender? Is this correct or do I have it backwards.

I have a chance to get some wheels from a friend at a very low price and hope they will fit my E55. They are the 25mm off-set up front and the 31mm off-set in the back.

I only plan to put 245/275 tires on the car so I wont be trying to make it an issue for fitment.

Will this wheel hit the fender lip on an E55? Will it hit the strut tube?

Thanks for the help.
