19's on a 1998 W202

I have a 1998 W202 and considering Carlsson 1/6 (ET 40 19”*8.5). Is it possible to go 19” on this car with absolutely no issues? If so, what tire does tirerack recommend to match?

since a 19x8.5 et40 does not work up front on a W210 E-Class nor my E55 it will not fit a W202.

Lorinser
Maximum TUV fitment I show for the W202 is:

8.5x18 ET31 (225/40R18) Front
9.5x18 ET31 (255/35R18) Rear

Fender rolling is highly recommended to prevent any possible rubbing issues.

do it...check out my bro's C43...no fitment issues...it would prob be in your best interest to run a 225/35/19 and roll the fenders, but if you do that, no worries.

oh by the way I have 19 * 8.5 and 19 * 9.5 with a 255 in the rear and a 2.5"+ drop, so trust me...anything is possible

OCKlasse, all those pics and wheel & tire sizes info is moot without knowing the rim offsets. What are they? Thanks.

all Carlsson 1/6 I have found that are 5 * 112 have been an ET40 (which is what his are). My car is an ET38 all around (including 5mm spacer up front, was ET43).
