Recently, I purchased a set of silver finish ASA Type 8 wheels for my W(126). Thus, I want to know the proper procedure for maintaining the finish on these wheels. Also, I purchased a set of Avon Tech m550 tires: Rear: 245/50wr16; Front: 225/55wr16. Hence, what is the proper tire pressure for this vehicle with this tire/wheel combo? Should I follow the recommended tire pressure chart on the inside of the gas lid? Thanks!

for protection use a synthetic ploymer wax and wash them with warm soapy water ....

No! I started to order online. However, I hesitated to do so because if uncertainty of the security of the site. But, don't view this as a pun against tirerack. I'm sure your site is secure in view of the quantity and service reviews from customers. Basicly, I'm still old school when making purchases with a credit card.
