W209 CLK
Offset for w209
Will the following offsets fit a 2003 w209 CLK?
Font: 235/40/18 offset: 31
Rear: 265/35/18 offset: 27
I know 18 will fit no problem. Just wasn't sure what the offset should be.
Are the bolt diameter 12mm or 14mm on the CLKs?
Thanks

W209 CLK
So if I want to mount rims that were previously on a C219 CLS or a W211 E series the bolt will be too large. How difficult will it be to change the bolts to the 14 mm size? Are there other methods other than changing the bolts?
I assume the only rims that I can swap with are the Cs and the SLKs?

MBWorld Fanatic!
changing the bolt size is major surgery and requires drilling and re-tapping.
another consideration is through the use of RAD bolts: 12mm bolts which have
hybrid 14mm ball seat. OTIS Inc and will run approx $45 for set of 20. use of
these bolts is not endorsed by MB.
be sure to dbl check length of bolt needed as well. lug depth may vary between
different model rims.

W209 CLK
Does anybody know what the length of the bolts are or what the largest offset rims can have with spacers before it becomes too big to bolt on?
The rims apparently have a +44ET offset and are 19x8 all around. Apparently they were mounted on a W210 E430. I'm guessing 10mm spacers are required but will they be too big?
Thanks
