I have a '97 E320 and it needs new rotors and pads. On my '95 BMW M3 I use PBR (Metal Master) Pads and Zimmerman Cross-Drilled Rotors for a cheap, but effective combination. What rotors/pads are recommended for the '97 E320? Would you go with stock or aftermarket? I've heard the Porterfield pads are nice (I also heard they squeak, but, I think that's if they aren't installed properly). But, they also seem extremely expensive. What about rotors? Who is the OEM for pads/rotors? And just as important, where can I get these items for a good price? Also, how do I tell which Chassis my car is? Apparently, the rear pads can have one retaining pin or two. Thanks.

your car is 210 chassis
I use the ATE powerdiscs for all my customers, they are exceptional. i also recommend the Pagid brake pads.
i believe pagid is the OEM, but do not quote me for sure

Chassis: -A-379346
-A-379347
I was talking about those chassis numbers, but I realized that I could see the pad through the wheels to see which pad is necessary.
Thanks.
