Crossdrilled rotors
Anyone know anything about the German made Zimmerman crossdrilled rotors? I hear good things about them including their price.

I know Zimmermann makes them for my car (CLK), which leads me to believe they probably have other MZB applications as well. I've heard from at least two sources that their rotors' holes are cast instead of drilled and have nothing but good things to say. Casting is ideal. Improper drilling can appearently lead to rotor cracking. I think I might give them a try unless people have a bad experience to share. $58 a rotor for the fronts and $55 each for the rears is pretty good.
Anyone have any thoughts on Cad plating?

Call Ian's Euro Parts 1 866 944 STUFF (7883). I dealt with Albert. Friendly and informative. Tell him David sent you. They normally handle Porsche parts but he found a set for me.
Check out this link to a BMW tuner who has the Zimmerman rotors listed with pics and a description.

Ben,
Does brembo make factory replacements rotors for the clk55 yet ? I don't really want to go to the hassle of replacing the entire piston/assembly but like the look of the crossdrilled rotors. The rears I believe are standard and I think brembo has them. The front is the question as they are brembo manufactured but not sure if they make a crossdrilled rotor yet. Thanks
Ed
