Luke ? on New Lug Bolts

2004 E320 with OEM 17" Fat 5 wheels. Got a new set of lugs but they appear just a tad too long. Do you know if this will cause a problem? By tad I mean a few mm's too long. Thanks Luke

depends on the weather
if the lug bolts are too long in the rear they can interfere with the parking brake assembly which is a very expensive mistake ..... try them on and spin the rear wheel and listen for a clicking sound ... it you hear nothing slowly back up the car and listen .. if you still hear nothing you're good to go
