Wheel sizes for SLK
I posted the same message on the SLK board but was wondering if anyone here would know. I have been looking at the posts to change the wheels on the SLK to an 18" but could not find anything on this:
Does anyone know where I can get the dimensions etc that would fit my 99 SLK?
Will the ride quality be noticably a lot less comfortable?
Will the S-Class AMG Style I (staggered) fit my car?
FRONT(PART # 220-401-1802)18"X8-1/2", 5 LUGS ON 112mm WITH 44mm OFFSET
FRONT TIRE: DUNLOP SP SPORT9000 96Y -245/45R18
REAR(PART#220-401-1902) 18"X9-1/2" ET 46
REAR TIRE: DUNLOP SP SPORT9000 99Y - 275/40R18
Thanks in advance.

I agree, the only way to fit those rims are too change the offset by shaving the back of the wheel to fit the 35mm SLK offset.
The ride totally depends on your tires not the wheels, i suggest going with Bridgestone S-03's for overall comfort and performance.
