Swapping winters/summers on the same rims: OK?
So... tire newbie question time:
While I'm sure it would be optimal to have separate rims for winter tires for so many reasons, would I be doing irreparable damage if I swapped tires on the same set of rims used for my summer tires, year after year?
(I'm trying to save $$$ these days, and would like to forgo having to buy separate rims for winter tires.)
Appreciate people's opinions!

Yes its OK. What you'll face is the winter elements and chemicals, the constant replacement of wheel weights and therefore the inherent scratches, possible additional curbage, etc.
